Each Wednesday join our FREE children's playgroup for an hour session of fun, music, story and activities.

Each week there will be a different theme which is perfect for kids aged 5 years and under.

Location: Play On Wednesdays is held at our children's playground, outside Aldi!

4 March | Welcome Autumn 🍂

Time to learn about the changing seasons and what it means for the calendar to turn to Autumn this week. What does Autumn mean to you and what are some fun things that you do as the weather starts to cool down? At playtime this week, we’ll set up a pretend campfire and sing about the stars in the milky way, learn about the leaves that start to change colour and fall from the trees and get busy getting creative at the craft table. And as usual enjoy the rainbow parachute to end the session!

11 March | In The Garden 🦋🍓🥬🌷

Join us at Playtime this week to explore things that grow in our gardens, whether it’s beautiful flowers or things that we can eat. We’ll explore how a seed turns from a seed into a plant and have some sensory fun with hands on examples of fresh fruit and veggies to touch and fresh herbs to smell.

18 March | Insects & Minibeasts 🐛🐌🪰🐞

What squirmy, wormy, creepy, crawly things might we find in our great outdoors (and sometime indoors!) We’ll put our investigators hats on this week to check out different insects and minibeasts. Join us for some fun activities, including music, story and craft.

25 March | Birthday Party Celebrations! 🎉🎂🍭

We all have one each year and this week it’s your host Anna’s birthday, so what better way to celebrate than to have a party! This week’s session will be focused around how we celebrate birthdays. We’ll sing the songs and learn about blowing out candles on the birthday cake, we’ll play some party games, have a favourite story and even learn how to craft a special card for someone special in your life. Feel free to wear your favourite party outfit!

1 April | Easter Special 🐣🐇

Hop-hop-hoppity, Easter’s on it’s way…. and this week at Playtime we will be having fun singing songs and playing games all about bunnies, celebrating new life and of course…chocolate! Join in the fun with our Easter story and have fun crafting a special Easter craft at the craft table. Today’s session will be the last one for the term and we look forward to seeing you back after a safe and happy school holiday break.
